  Security Finance seem to be a very comfortable place to get a loan that make you feel at home they ask you questions your options and they're very courteous

  I felt like Security Finance company was more interested in the quantity of loan applications rather than the quality. Seemed possible they were on a daily quota to obtain a specific number of applications. During the application process, I was treated like a number, rather than a real person. The employee that took my application was not interested in addressing my concerns and requests to cancel application. He did not appear personable, the mentality was I have a job to complete. He answered some questions but did not seem to care that he was proceeding with an unqualified applicant based on Security Finances requirements. After communicating all my main sources of income, was told he was not able include most of them in my application, keeping in mind I am a full-time student and part-time independent contractor. At that point It was quite obvious, I did not qualify and this was not the loan company for my situation. Even though I insisted we cancel the application process while he was obtaining my information, I was told it could not be canceled. This staff member knew and I knew there was no way I could qualify very early in the application process. It did not seem to phase this employee that his actions would result in inquiry for me and be a negative impact on my credit. The employee I spoke with even made derogatory comments about the approval process of a company that actually treated me very well and approved me. I later spoke with a lady named Danielle, who notified me that I was not approved (as I already knew would happen) and also indicated she was the branch manager. Although Daniel listened to my concerns, like the employee who took my application, she did not appear very sensitive to my complaints. I would definitely not recommend this company. As a consumer, it left a very bad taste in my mouth. It is important for business owners and managers to understand that each potential customer must be treated with courteous, professional behavior. The image you project to potential customers can lead to more business or loss opportunities through word of mouth or sites like this one. I was so disappointed with my overall experience. I would suggest if looking for a small loan try Sun Loan Company in Bloomington. In my contact with Sun Loan Company, the staff were very professional, courteous and personable. I felt like they cared about me as a person before and after the application process. They also understood that every person's situation is unique. In my short experience with Sun Loan company and it's staff, I noticed good ethical business practices. This company appears to be generally concerned with helping people and their reputation in the community.
