- ★ ☆ ☆ ☆ ☆I called with a very simple question ---- whether the owner of a vehicle has to be present if you are renewing a plate without the card from the state. He refused to just say yes or no. Just kept repeatedly sayin you need an ID and the plate number. Over and over and over. I was trying very hard to be courteous and politte but he just wouldn't give a straight answer. Additionally, the tone of his voice was so angry and rude. I have never bought into DMV bashing but this was unbelievable. If he hates his job and the people of Illinois so much, he should quit!
